Of all the hobbies I have,
travelling is my favorite. It has become part of my life, right from my college
days. I don’t just mean the vacation and fun trips that I go. It is more, and
mostly includes commuting from places to places for studies and job. I have
never been able to stay at a place fixed for more than a year. Wherever I am, I
also make it a point to visit home whenever I can.
So that means, I am mostly by myself
in trains and buses. No, not so boring as you think. You get to learn a lot in a
train (I prefer trains over buses). I have made some amazing connections and the
longest one is 12 years old now. Wow! Time does fly fast.
But other than that, I love visiting
places. I like it all, the history, architecture, culture, people, art, nature
and everything.
Do you travel alone or with
friends? I prefer it in groups. Need at-least one to accompany. And
smaller the group, so much are the things I can do (or I need big groups with
same vibe, which is little hard to find). It is the people who we travel with
create memories. Be it the ones who you start your journey with or the ones
that join you on the way.
And what do you all think about
solo trips? I go solo when I want to figure what turn my life is taking, when I
want to make some decisions, when I want to clear my mind and when I want some
space. I find it to be a wonderful way of reconnecting me with myself. Try
sometime, if you are not into it yet.
What comes to your mind when you
hear travel? How often do you travel? What are your favorite places? Why do
you want to travel? Are you a Solo Traveller? or Whom do you like to travel
with? What are your most weird travel experiences? Do you plan it in advance,
or you just go when you feel like it? Want to share, drop a mail. I would love
to hear.
