PROCESS ENGINEERING

As said, I am a Chemical Engineer by profession. When I and my friends entered the industry, the greatest challenge we faced was not knowing enough about the processes. The academic knowledge we had couldn’t be practically connected. So, this will be my attempt to help the new entrants to have a smooth transition.

Process Engineers are those who work to design the processes that go in the chemical industry. It includes process design, control, stimulation, etc. And those who work real-time in plants are called Production Engineers or Chemical Engineers. Do not consider this as a strict classification, but one to easily differentiate.
 
Here, I will be writing about different aspects of the industry that I have come across and that I think will benefit some of you.
